Team Isaac (Isaac Coleman) care of COTA (Children's Organ Transplant Fund
You may remember Isaac from our Team Isaac Giving Tree last year. At the time, we were raising money for Isaacs upcoming Kidney transplant. We are very happy to share that he had a deceased donor transplant in early March of 2021. He is still recovering, but doing very well! We are so thankful for the way our town has supported us this past year. Unfortunately, our journey with Isaac, and many of his friends' medical battles are still far from over. The kidney transplant was a very big hurdle for us to overcome, but looking forward we will continue to monitor Isaac for head and neck cancers - which he is highly susceptible to, as well as managing several other of his health conditions. This year, we are raising money on behalf of the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund to further the wonderful advancements they are making in researching and preventing these cancers, gene therapy and more!
