Soul to Soles Connection is dedicated to the mental health of our military and their families/caregivers. Participants, suffering from trauma including combat, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), Military Sexual Trauma (MST), grief and loss, are offered the time to overcome challenges and heal with the support of our professional facilitators. Our mission is to offer ground-based mental health treatment, with horses, focused on reducing the impact of trauma, while rediscovering confidence, compassion, stability, and trust. We honor all by providing a supportive haven – a place where concerns and obstacles can be explored and released. The experiential nature of working with horses, engages the active and retired military in their own healing process, reaching solutions that meet them squarely on their own terms. Soul to Soles Connection offers individual/couple/family counseling sessions, closed groups, and retreats at our farm in Mooresville, NC. We try to never turn away anyway who has the courage to ask for help.

Willow Equine offers ground-based mental health treatment, team building and business coaching, with horses at our spacious 40-acre farm in Mooresville, NC. We collaborate with freely moving horses to deepen the experiences, personalized insights and outcomes. Clients learn from the horses' natural instincts and communication skills. This offers the opportunity for clients to "get out of their heads" and rewrite their stories. Willow Equine works with clients of all ages with an array of challenges. Our team of five therapist have diverse areas of expertise including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and self harm. Brain Spotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) can also be incorporated into the sessions at the farm. Willow Equine also has two experienced business coaches for leadership and corporate events.
